You can connect any existing WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business account as a communication channel. It will allow you to receive messages from WhatsApp users and reply with messages, send files, images, and voice messages. It also enables you to initiate conversations in WhatsApp using a phone number.
Connecting WhatsApp
- Go to the Settings section, click the "Add Communication Channel" button, and select "WhatsApp". In the window that appears, click "Add," and within 1-2 minutes, a connection will be created-a WhatsApp channel with the status "notAuthorized," meaning the connection is ready but not yet established.
- Next, open the created connection by clicking on the WhatsApp channel type and press "Connect"-a QR code will be displayed.
- Open WhatsApp on the mobile device with the number you wish to connect.
Go to the main menu > Linked devices > Link a device and scan the displayed QR code.
You can disconnect the connection at any time on your mobile device in WhatsApp > Linked devices or by clicking "Disconnect" in WAMM.chat.
The connected WhatsApp number can be replaced with another one-to do this, disconnect the current connection and scan the QR code with a different WhatsApp number.
